Prospero Teaching is working closely with a successful primary school in Manchester to recruit an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work with children with SEN. This is a full-time, ongoing role starting in September.

Role Overview

The Learning Support Assistant will work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting groups of children at all ability levels with learning activities. Responsibilities include delivering interventions to children with additional needs, tailored for individuals or groups with similar learning gaps or progress rates.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience as a Learning Support Assistant in a UK primary school
  • Good understanding of the curriculum and expectations for Key Stage 1 and 2
  • Knowledge of delivering intervention programmes and supporting children with SEN
  • Compassionate and caring nature
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Relevant LSA/Teaching Assistant qualification and experience
  • Professional references covering the last two full years
