Academics is on the lookout for caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support primary schools across the Stoke-on-Trent area. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners by helping them unlock their potential.

About the Role:

As a SEN TA, you'll work across a range of welcoming mainstream primary schools, offering tailored one-on-one or small group support to pupils with a variety of additional needs. Whether part-time or full-time, your support will be crucial in helping students feel confident, included, and empowered to succeed.

Key Responsibilities of a SEN TA:
  1. Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and abilities
  2. Support teachers in delivering fun, structured, and inclusive lessons
  3. Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence
  4. Nurture pupils' social and emotional development
  5. Build strong, supportive relationships with children, staff, and parents
What We're Looking For:
  1. Experience working with children with SEN (school-based preferred, but not essential)
