Job summary

Sovereign & Bale is seeking an Supported Internship Tutor in High Wycombe to lead on-site learning for interns with disabilities. You will recruit suitable students, plan daily activities, and deliver literacy and numeracy support while coordinating with hosts and local authorities.

The role focuses on developing portfolios, achieving accreditation and ensuring progress toward employment outcomes for young people in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Careers Education and Guidance, Youth and Community work or Social Care (or working towards).
• Proven success engaging SEN participants on Programme.
• Experience in providing group and one-to-one tutor support or coaching.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver on-site learning programme.
• Recruit students with disabilities and conduct education assessments.
• Plan and deliver daily classroom activities and lessons (including virtual).
• Deliver literacy and numeracy support (remote).
• Support interns to develop portfolios and achieve accreditation.
• Assess student skills and monitor welfare.
• Engage with local authorities and employers to support progression.
