Job summary

St James Academy in Dudley is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our dedicated school team. You will support pupils, including those with SEN, to access learning and develop confidence under the guidance of SENCOs and teachers.

The role involves supporting individuals and small groups, promoting positive behaviour, and helping with learning activities. NVQ Level 2 or willingness to work towards it is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.
• Ability to promote positive behaviour and keep a supportive classroom environment.
