Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced SEN Support TA to work within a specialist education setting in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. The role supports pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs with some medical or physiotherapy requirements.

The successful candidate will provide individual and small-group support, help pupils access differentiated activities, and collaborate with teachers and specialists to meet individual care plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN, PMLD and complex needs.
• Patience, calm approach and good communication with pupils, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group support for pupils throughout the school day.
• Assist pupils to access differentiated learning activities.
• Support communication using appropriate strategies and resources.
• Work with teachers and specialists to meet individual needs and follow care plans.
• Assist with personal care and medical/physiotherapy requirements as directed.
