Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking an experienced SEN Support Worker to join a specialist educational setting in the Dudley area. You will support children and young adults with profound and complex learning difficulties, delivering person-centred care and enabling development across daily living and communication.

The role is full-time, long-term, Monday–Friday, with pay up to £105 per day and opportunities for training. DBS checks and safeguarding commitments apply.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with complex SEN or PMLD.
• Ability to provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Confident with manual handling and following care plans.
• Experience in support work, healthcare or care settings is relevant.
• Passion for improving quality of life and helping individuals reach their potential.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young adults across a range of ages and abilities.
• Provide personal care with dignity and respect.
• Carry out manual handling tasks safely, following care plans and training.
• Support communication, sensory needs, emotional wellbeing and daily living skills.
• Help learners develop independence, confidence and life skills.
• Work closely with teachers and other staff to provide consistent, individualized care.
