Job summary

Milk Education are working with an inclusive mainstream primary school in Lambeth who are looking for a caring and committed SEN Support Assistant to join their team from September. This is a full-time, long-term role with a September start paying £100-£120 per day.

You will support pupils with additional needs within the classroom, provide 1:1 and small-group help, assist access to lessons and activities, reinforce learning through structured tasks, and work with the class teacher and SENDCo to

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children is desirable.
• SEN experience would be advantageous.
• Patient, calm and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional learning needs within the classroom.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required.
• Help pupils access lessons and classroom activities.
• Reinforce learning through practical and structured activities.
• Support communication and social development.
• Encourage independence and positive behaviour.
• Work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo.
• Contribute to a calm and inclusive classroom environment.
