A primary school in Salford is seeking a support assistant to work in a new unit for children with autism and learning difficulties. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact in a supportive environment, with potential for a permanent contract. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to enhance the learning experience for children in EYFS or KS1.

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Primary school in Salford, M6. This Salford primary school are looking to recruit an support assistant to work in a small unit that is opening in September in their school. This mainstream school will have small unit for children with autism and other Learning Difficulties. There will be around 6-10 children in the unit at a time and aged in EYFS or KS1. There will be a class teacher and 2 other TA’s in the class as well as constant support from the school SENCO.
This role requires someone who has experience of working with children with ASC/SEN, whether it’s on the verbal or non verbal spectrum. The school has a friendly environment and a hard-working supportive team. This is a great opportunity and one which will lead to a school’s permanent contract in the future.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
