Learning Support Assistants

Multiple roles available in a Stretford-based school (M32). These positions are available on a full-time and part-time basis, for emergency cover, short-term and long-term absences, as well as filling staffing gaps.

  • School experience is not required to be successful in these roles.

A Primary School in Stretford is seeking multiple Learning Support Assistants with various start dates. The school requires staff on short-term and long-term contracts, which could be either full-time or part-time. They are looking for individuals passionate about making a difference with children in specialist settings. As a learning support assistant, you will be expected to build positive relationships with pupils, encourage positive choices and behaviour, provide general support within classes, and collaborate with other LSAs and class teachers.

The school is open to candidates with diverse experiences. Success could come from being an experienced SEN support assistant, a graduate seeking experience working with SEN children, or having prior support or care work experience. Experience supporting individuals with additional needs is desirable but not essential.

Pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent later.
