Job summary

CERT Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to provide supply cover across various special schools in Sandwell. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher looking for flexibility and to continue making a difference in young people’s lives.

You will deliver engaging lessons, provide calm leadership, and adapt strategies to meet EHCP targets, while collaborating with support staff and the wider SEN team.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in an education setting.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Confident managing complex behaviour positively and effectively.
• Suitable for ECTs.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the classroom teacher.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons to pre-16 pupils with additional needs.
• Provide consistent, calm and confident classroom leadership.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual EHCP targets.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and the wider SEN team.
• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
• Deliver small group or one-to-one catch-up sessions.
• Support pupils according to their individual needs.
• Work with the class teacher to plan, evaluate and adjust lessons.
