Job summary

Oxford Spires Academy in East Oxford is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our Academic Support Department, focusing on learners with SEMH and CL needs. The role will involve adapting lessons for primary and secondary settings and working within a dedicated SEN team to deliver inclusive education.

You will work to ensure students access the full curriculum, contribute to high standards of teaching, and participate in safeguarding and welfare checks.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join our established team as a specialist teacher. We will consider applications from teachers with experience in Secondary and Primary settings for this position.

The successful candidate will work with our dynamic and experienced SEN team to ensure that every student within our classes receives a world class education. The role will be predominantly teaching a small group of learners with SEMH and C&L needs across the curriculum to ensure that they are able to access and keep up with the curriculum within the wider school.

This role is based within our Academic Support (AS) Department which enables quality teaching, excellent learning outcomes and success for all pupils.

We are a highly sought after and well-established comprehensive in East Oxford with over 1300 students including 6th Form.
