Talbot House Children’s Charity is seeking a Specialist Support Assistant (SSA) for KS1 and KS2 to support SEN pupils with complex needs in a small-class setting. The role is within a non-maintained specialist school with small class sizes, and multiple daily options to fit family commitments.

Starting as soon as possible, the post offers term-time hours with several schedule options and a generous benefits package including DBS support, pension options, healthcare access and meal provisions.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of working with SEN pupils with complex needs (SEMH, ASD, ADHD, trauma).
• Experience in a school setting with small class sizes or specialist provision.
• Availability to start as soon as possible.

Aufgaben

• Support pupils with SEN and complex needs in classroom settings.
• Assist in KS1-KS4 activities within a small-class environment (max 6 pupils).
• Contribute to safeguarding and DBS-related processes as required.
