Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a KS2 Teaching Assistant / LSA for a welcoming primary school in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. The role is full-time, 8.30am-3.30pm, with 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with SEN in the mornings, then general classroom TA duties in the afternoons.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, support interventions, help pupils progress, and be part of a supportive school team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Teaching Assistant or LSA.
• SEN experience essential.
• Confident providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Morning: provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with SEN.
• Afternoon: support small groups and individual pupils in class.
• Support delivery of interventions and reinforce learning.
• Work with the class teacher and SENCO for consistent support.
• Help pupils overcome barriers to learning and progress.
