Job summary

Supply Desk Ltd is seeking a passionate SEND Teacher to support children and young people with hearing impairment, SLCN and related needs. You’ll work with pupils aged 2–19, delivering personalised lessons and building strong relationships with families and professionals.

You must hold QTS and have experience in SEND settings. A multidisciplinary team, ongoing specialist SEND training and access to assistive tech are provided to help every learner be heard.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, HI, SLCN and ASC.
• Able to work within a multi-disciplinary team and with families.
• Committed to inclusive education and child-centred learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to each pupil's communication needs.
• Support learners from Early Years through to Post-16 in an inclusive setting.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SaLTs, Teachers of the Deaf and families.
• Promote communication, confidence and independence through adaptive teaching.
