Job summary

A tutoring and educational support organization is looking for a dedicated SEN / SEND Tutor in Newbury to work with students with special educational needs. This role involves providing personalized tuition in Maths, English, or Science and supporting young people in their learning journey. Candidates must have professional teaching qualifications and relevant experience with SEND students. The position offers flexible hours and ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years teaching experience required.
• Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD or SLD.
• Must have a clear understanding of safeguarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide tuition in core subjects to students with additional educational needs.
• Plan and deliver personalized tutoring sessions.
• Complete lesson reports and provide timely feedback.
