Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is hiring a Mentor for an SEN/SEMH school in Hackney. You will support students 1:1 and in small groups to overcome barriers to learning and improve engagement.

The role focuses on emotional wellbeing, behaviour management, and building positive relationships with pupils, teachers and pastoral staff. Experience in mentoring or youth work is preferred; patience and resilience are essential.

This is a full-time position with an immediate start in Hackney.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring or youth work is beneficial.
• Strong behaviour management skills are essential.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and pastoral staff.

Responsabilités

• Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups within an SEN/SEMH setting.
• Help students overcome barriers to learning and manage emotions.
• Deliver targeted mentoring sessions and encourage engagement and attendance.
• Monitor progress and collaborate with teachers to set achievable goals.
