Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking an experienced SEN Secondary Teacher (Multi-Needs) to teach across year groups in South London.

The role requires adapting lessons to EHCPs, supporting students with ASD, ADHD and other needs, and creating an inclusive, engaging learning environment. You will collaborate with SENCOs, support staff and external agencies, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to colleagues, parents and carers.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience working with SEN and/or specialist settings.
• Experience teaching secondary-aged pupils.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Ability to teach and cover a range of subjects when required.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
• Support students with SEN including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language needs, MLD and other needs.
• Adapt teaching strategies and EHCPs to individual learners.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with SENCOs, support staff, therapists, and external agencies.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to staff, parents, and carers.
• Manage behaviour effectively using positive strategies.
• Promote student independence and personal development.
