Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Vision for Education is proud to be working in partnership with a supportive and forward-thinking SEN secondary school in Ashford who are seeking a committed SEN Secondary Teacher to join their team.

About the Role:

You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to small groups of secondary-aged pupils with a range of complex learning needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

  • Teach core subjects such as English, Maths, PSHE, or other areas according to your specialism
  • Develop individualised learning plans tailored to each pupil's needs and EHCP targets
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • Work closely with LSAs, therapists, and parents to support each child holistically

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN, either in mainstream or specialist settings
  • A patient, resilient, and adaptable teaching style
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing attitude
  • A passion for helping young people reach their potential
