Qualificações

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience planning and delivering Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Strong subject knowledge across General Science
• Experience differentiating lessons for learners with different abilities and needs
• Child-centred approach with commitment to individual development
• Ability to build trusting relationships and create a positive learning environment
• Patience, resilience, flexibility and a nurturing approach
• High expectations and belief that every student can progress with support

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging General Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Differentiate learning to support students with a range of abilities and additional needs.
• Adapt teaching strategies to support students with Autism and SEMH needs.
• Break down complex concepts into clear, manageable learning activities.
• Create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom where students feel safe and supported.
• Build positive relationships with students to develop confidence, independence and belonging.
• Promote emotional wellbeing and positive attitudes towards learning.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement while providing appropriate support.
• Monitor student progress and adapt planning to meet individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues to ensure consistent support.
