Teaching Personnel Ltd. are seeking an experienced Head of School to lead an independent educational setting in Wolverhampton.

The role focuses on supporting young people with SEN and additional needs, while maintaining high standards in safeguarding, curriculum delivery and day-to-day operations. The candidate will provide strategic leadership across teaching, staff development, safeguarding and compliance, ensuring positive outcomes for pupils and strong collaboration with parents and external

Qualificações

• Degree in a relevant subject.
• QTS, QTLS or recognised overseas equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience within an educational setting, e.g., Head of Department, SLT or Headteacher level.
• Experience managing and developing staff teams.
• Strong understanding of teaching and learning, particularly across English, Maths and Science.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs.
• Strong safeguarding and educational compliance knowledge.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strong leadership across the school and ensure high standards of safeguarding, behaviour, wellbeing and pupil support.
• Inspire and engage pupils, helping them achieve educational and personal ambitions.
• Lead, support and develop teaching and support staff across the school.
• Oversee teaching and learning quality and monitor pupil progress.
• Ensure delivery of core subjects including English, Maths and Science.
• Work with parents/carers and external stakeholders to support pupils.
• Identify challenges and implement effective solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations.
