Job summary

Horizon Care and Education Group is opening Leigh Park SEN School for 90 children in Leigh, Wigan (WN7). We are seeking a dedicated School Administrator to help set up the new site and support the Head Teacher from day one.

You will handle admissions paperwork, attendance registers, purchases, room bookings, and reception tasks, while building positive relationships with students and staff. This is a hands-on role in a values-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Process admissions paperwork and keep vital records up to date, such as attendance registers
• Take care of purchases and petty cash returns, from all staff
• Organise room/facilities bookings for the school
• Collate reports as requested
• Be the friendly voice at the end of the phone for incoming/outgoing calls
• Complete duties to facilitate school registration
• Carry out annual reviews of paperwork, and keep contracts up to date
• Continue to bring historical data together to show progress and administrative integrity
• General administrative duties as directed by Head Teacher
• Build relationships with our students, and be a trusted person in their school
