Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Psychology graduate to join our client as an SEN Teaching Assistant in Royston/Meldreth, Hertfordshire. This full-time, term-time role runs 8:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £22,996-£25,068 per annum.

Contract: Temporary to Permanent. You'll work in a specialist school alongside teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals, supporting children and young people aged 6-19 with Autism, ADHD and other needs.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Support students in the classroom and throughout the school day.
• Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group support.
• Encourage communication, emotional wellbeing and independence.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
• Provide personal care where required.
