Job summary

Connect2Dorset is recruiting an experienced SEN Provision Lead to join our client Council’s SEND Service on a fully remote, temporary contract. This role focuses on supporting children and young people with SEND to receive right support at the right time.

The position requires handling EHCPs, annual reviews, and multi-agency collaboration while delivering outcomes remotely. Immediate start for a short-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of EHCPs and SEND statutory processes.
• Proven case management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working across multi-agency environments.
• Ability to work independently and deliver remotely.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload involving children and young people with SEND.
• Coordinate, review and amend EHCPs in line with statutory processes.
• Lead annual reviews and ensure statutory deadlines are met.
• Manage complex and high-risk cases, including disputes and tribunals.
• Chair multi-agency meetings and annual review panels.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and documentation.
• Analyse service performance data and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to the development of SEND processes, policies and service delivery.
• Build effective relationships with families, schools and professional stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity to support children and young people with special educational needs and ensure they receive the right support at the right time.

Role: SEN Provision Lead

Location: Wareham, with fully remote working

Contract: Temporary, 2 weeks

Pay rate: £300.00–£320.00 per day

Candidate Responsibilities: SEN Provision Lead
