Empowering Learning in Esher is seeking an enthusiastic EYFS/KS1 teacher to join a brand-new SEN satellite provision for pupils with ASD. You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons and support pupils to make academic, social and emotional progress.

We value a patient, nurturing, adaptable practitioner who works well in a team with teaching assistants and the wider SEN group, contributing to a calm, inclusive learning environment and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Primary Teacher with EYFS or KS1 experience.
• Interest in SEN/ASD and developing SEN practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
• Support pupils with ASD to make academic, social and emotional progress.
• Adapt teaching and communication to meet individual needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and the wider SEN team.
• Contribute to a positive, calm and inclusive learning environment.
