Job summary

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams across the UK to provide educational support for learners currently out of mainstream education.

We are seeking a KS1-KS4 Maths and English tutor with QTS (or equivalent) to deliver 1:1 support to students diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, working at their current level and reintroducing education while a suitable provision is found. Sessions take place at a local library or the student's home.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent
• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils
• UK classroom teaching experience
• Creativity, patience and willingness to think outside the box

Responsibilities

• Provide KS1–KS4 Maths and English support on a 1:1 basis
• Assess current ability and reintroduce education while a suitable school provision is found
• Deliver sessions in a local library or the student’s home
