Job summary

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams across the UK. We are seeking a KS1–KS4 Tutor with QTS to provide 1:1 Maths and English support to pupils with SEN, including Autism and ADHD, who are currently out of mainstream education.

Sessions occur in a local library or the student’s home; the role requires creativity, patience and the ability to assess and adapt to lower-ability learners during ongoing provision.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent.
• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.
• UK classroom teaching experience.
• Creative, patient and willing to think outside the box.

Responsibilities

• Provide KS1–KS4 Maths and English support on a 1:1 basis.
• Assess current ability and reintroduce education into routine.
• Support students at local libraries or in the home.
