Job summary

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams across the UK. We are seeking a KS1-KS4 Maths and English tutor with QTS to provide 1:1 support to pupils out of mainstream education, many with Autism or ADHD, working at lower levels and reintroducing education.

Sessions run 10-15 hours per week during the school day, in a local library or the pupil's home, ASAP start, ongoing. Must hold right to work in UK, DBS enhanced, and provide two professional references.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience with SEND or disengaged pupils.
• UK classroom teaching experience.
• Be creative and patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide KS1–KS4 Maths and English 1:1 tutoring.
• Assess current ability and reintroduce education.
• Deliver sessions in a local library or the pupil's home.
