Job summary

Teaching Personnel is partnering with a unique outdoor education provision in the South Brent and Totnes area to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs in an outdoor learning setting.

The role involves working with students from Primary through to Secondary age, delivering practical outdoor activities, modelling positive behaviour and helping learners access a personalised curriculum within a caring, nature-based environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is essential.
• Calm, patient and adaptable approach.
• Full UK Driving Licence or ability to travel to sites in the South Brent/Totnes area.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students with a range of SEN needs.
• Delivering engaging outdoor and practical learning activities.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Building strong relationships with learners, staff and families.
• Helping students access a personalised curriculum.
• Promoting confidence, independence and resilience.
