Prospero Teaching is looking for a Level 3 Nursery Assistant to support pupils in a Durham-based Nursery/Primary School on a full-time basis. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with varied SEN and delivering targeted intervention sessions to boost progress. Hours are 08:30-15:30, with a temporary contract ending in July 2027.

Start date is 2 November. Applicants must hold Right to Work in the UK and provide DBS with update service or be willing to apply.

Formación

• Experience of working with children in UK schools is essential.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Proactive, resilient and positive by nature, with a can-do attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups with varied SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD).
• Deliver intervention sessions to small groups to bolster understanding and progress.
• Collaborate with Class Teachers to understand diverse needs and learning styles.
• Provide support across the school at break times and lunchtimes as required.
