Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a warm, patient SEN nanny/manny to support a 9-year-old child with SEN and SEMH—focused on calm, reassuring care that recognises behaviour as communication.

The role requires experience supporting children with SEN or SEMH and with emotional dysregulations; desirable trauma-informed care experience and Positive Behaviour Support. A full driving licence and own car are preferred to enable consistent transportation.

Job description

Fred, 9, is bright, affectionate and imaginative, loving animals, outdoor activities, rugby, swimming, kickboxing, Lego and games. Fred has dyslexia, a history of speech delay, anxiety and emotional dysregulation, particularly around school and transitions.

He needs calm, reassuring support that recognises behaviour as communication.

Essential Experience: Experience supporting children with SEN or SEMH. Experience supporting children with emotional dysregulations.

Desirable: Positive Behaviour Support Experience. Trauma-informed care experience.
