Job summary

Snap Care in Wokingham is seeking a SEN Nanny or Manny to care for Tim, an energetic eight-year-old with autism and ADHD. The role is permanent, full-time, with shifts including three or four weekdays and one weekend day. Pay is £20.00 per hour on weekdays and £22.00 on weekends, with start as soon as possible.

Live-out or live-in options available, with a private room if needed. Accommodation, a family car on duty, and two pet cats are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting autistic children
• Desirable: Experience with AAC, Makaton, letterboard communication and positive support for dysregulation

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support for Tim, a child with autism and ADHD
• Manage after-school and weekend schedule as specified
• Encourage outdoor activities and engagement with animals
• Communicate effectively using AAC/Makaton when required
