Job summary

Odyssey House School in Wokingham is seeking a Maths Teacher (SEN) to deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons to small classes of students with high‑functioning autism, anxiety and EBSA. You will be supported by Teaching Assistants and an experienced SENCO to focus on quality teaching and meaningful student progress.

Qualifications

  • QTS and a good honours degree in a relevant subject.
  • Experience in a Special Educational Needs setting.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated Maths lessons in small classes.
  • Support students to achieve recognised qualifications (Entry Level, Functional Skills, GCSE).
  • Monitor progress and provide clear, supportive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
  • Provide pastoral support as a tutor/key adult.
