Tempest Resourcing Limited is urgently seeking a SEN Maths Teacher for a specialist SEMH provision in Liverpool. You will teach Maths to secondary students, adapting to SEMH needs with a patient, flexible approach.

The ideal candidate holds QTS and has strong Maths teaching experience with SEN/SEND or SEMH, coupled with solid behaviour-management skills and resilience. Immediate start and temp-to-perm potential offered.

We are urgently looking for a Maths Teacher with SEN experience to join a specialist secondary provision in the L25 area of Liverpool.

The school supports young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour, so they are looking for a teacher who is confident working with students who may require a more personalised, patient and flexible approach to learning.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Strong Maths teaching experience
• Previous experience working with SEN/SEND or SEMH students
• Confidence managing challenging behaviour
• A calm, patient and consistent approach
• Strong behaviour-management skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with young people
• Resilience, flexibility and a genuine passion for supporting students who may have struggled in mainstream education
