Job summary

You will use strong Maths knowledge to make learning accessible for pupils with diverse needs, including those with SEN, SEMH and ASC.

Qualifications

• Strong maths subject knowledge across ability ranges.
• Experience supporting vulnerable learners in education, care, mentoring or similar settings.
• Ability to adapt lessons for SEN, SEMH, ASC or other needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships and provide consistent support.
• Patient, resilient and able to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Set high expectations while tailoring support to individual learners.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths lessons across a range of abilities and age groups.
• Support pupils with SEN in maths to make concepts accessible and engaging.
• Differentiate teaching approaches to suit individual needs.
• Build strong relationships with students and provide encouragement and guidance.
