Job summary

Grange School is seeking a Lunchtime Organiser to support pupils with SEN during the school day, helping them enjoy a safe and engaging lunchtime experience.

The role is permanent, 10 hours per week, during term time, with a starting salary of £6,229 and a full-time equivalent of £26,016 (Grade 2). You will work with teachers and the wider team to promote wellbeing and positive behaviour.

Qualifications

• Caring and reliable individual with good communication.
• Able to support pupils with SEN and promote a safe lunchtime environment.
• Strong teamwork and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils in the dining hall and around the school site.
• Assist with feeding, toileting, changing and handwashing as required.
• Encourage independence, social interaction and positive behaviour.
• Run lunchtime clubs and activities such as sports and arts.
• Provide care and reassurance to pupils who are unwell or have minor accidents.
• Work with teachers and staff to ensure pupil wellbeing and safety.
• Follow training for safe use of equipment.
