Job summary

Pear Tree High School in Manchester is seeking a Lunchtime Organiser (SEN) on a part-time basis to supervise students during lunch and run clubs, 11:00am to 1:30pm, term-time only. The role supports healthy eating and student well-being, with duties across dining areas and other areas as required.

The successful candidate will work with pupils, parents, governors and staff, and will be subject to enhanced DBS checks and relevant safeguarding measures. The post is permanent and part-time.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work effectively with the whole school community including pupils, parents, governors and staff.
• Enhanced DBS checks will be required and applicants must meet pre-employment checks.
• Role is 12.5 hours per week, term-time only, 11:00am–1:30pm daily.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in dining areas and provide high quality lunchtime support.
• Support healthy eating, lunchtime clubs, feeding and changing students as appropriate.
• Create a pleasant lunchtime atmosphere for pupils and staff, and report incidents to senior staff.
• Assist with lunchtime activities such as football, outdoor play, clubs and magazine/art/sensory activities.
