Job summary

Pear Tree High School is seeking a Lunchtime Organiser to support pupils during lunch, supervise activities, and help provide a safe and enjoyable lunchtime experience.

The role is 12.5 hours weekly (11:00–13:30), term-time only, with a starting salary of £7,786 and a full-time equivalent of £26,016. You will work with staff, pupils, parents and carers to promote wellbeing and positive lunchtime routines.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
• Ability to supervise lunchtime activities and clubs.
• Basic first aid or safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students in dining areas and other spaces during lunch.
• Support healthy eating and supervise lunchtime clubs (e.g., football, art, magazines).
• Assist at tables with food choices and student development.
• Report incidents to senior staff and seek first aid when needed.
