Job summary

Rowan Gate Primary School - Four Sites is seeking two Lunchtime Supervisors to support pupils during lunch breaks and play times at our Wellingborough site. The roles are term-time, 38 weeks per year, with 12:00–14:00 slots, and involve duties in halls, classrooms and the playground.

Successful applicants should have good communication, an interest in SEN, team spirit, safeguarding awareness and problem-solving abilities to liaise with staff and pupils.

Qualifications

• Good communication and listening skills
• Interest in working with and interacting with children with SEN
• The ability to work as part of a team
• An awareness of child protection issues
• An ability to problem solve, and communicate adequately concerning issues with staff and children

Responsibilities

• Set up the school hall or classrooms ready for lunch and clear away leaving the room clean, tidy and ready for afternoon sessions
• Assist with the feeding and help with toileting as required
• Assist in the playground following the direction from classroom staff
