Job summary

Randstad Staffing is partnering with a Further Education college in Bromley to recruit a dedicated Learning Support Officer. The role focuses on supporting SEN learners, removing barriers to education and promoting independence during term-time sessions.

You will provide 1:1 and group support, assist with personal care and mobility, and help learners work toward EHCP outcomes at a modern Bromley campus. A patient, adaptable approach is essential.

Qualifications

• General education including Level 2 Maths and English (or willingness to achieve).
• Interest and passion for SEN support.
• Comfort with assisting students with personal care and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group learning support to SEN students under staff guidance.
• Assist learners with personal care, mobility, and safety respectfully.
• Support students in EHCP goals and outcomes.
• Ensure access to specialist assistive technologies and equipment.
• Help learners develop study skills, self-advocacy and independence.
• Monitor progress and contribute to reviews with staff and external agencies.
