Job summary

Academics Ltd in Tewkesbury is seeking a SEN Learning Support Worker to support learners daily with SEMH and academic needs, creating a positive, safe learning environment. You will work with experienced staff and其他 education professionals to help learners manage behaviour and develop social and emotional skills for life.

The role is term-time only, based in Tewkesbury, with a daily rate of £90–£105 (DOE) and hours 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• A caring, patient, and adaptable approach.
• A genuine passion for helping children with SEN succeed.
• Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.
• A willingness to learn and take on training opportunities.
• An enhanced DBS check (Or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities

• Creating a safe and encouraging environment to help learners thrive.
• Assisting with specific interventions to support social and emotional progress and regulation.
• Monitoring achievements and helping learners reach their full potential.
• Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
• Supporting learners with their learning and personal development so that they feel accepted and valued.
