Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate, proactive, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils in a SEN School in South Shields, starting ASAP on a full-time basis. This role offers the chance to build positive relationships and make a long-term impact on pupils' lives, progress, and development.

About the School:

• The role is based in an SEN School in South Shields supporting pupils aged 4-19, with opportunities across all year groups based on your preference and expertise.
• The school has a supportive culture and leadership team, with staff working collaboratively to support pupils.

Pay, Hours, and Contract:

• Pay: £80-95 per day
• Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Contract: Full-time until July 2025, temporary
• Start Date: ASAP
• Location: South Shields

About the Role:

• Supporting pupils with SEN and challenging behavior, both 1:1 and in small groups.
• Pupils may have ASD, ADHD, SEMH; some may be non-verbal or require personal care. Willingness to support in these contexts is essential.
• Understanding different needs and learning styles, working closely with teachers and colleagues.

Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:

• Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare qualification (desired)
