Job summary

Oasis Academy Long Cross Specialist Resource Base is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team in Bristol. You will support children with severe and complex learning needs, including autism, under the guidance of the class teacher and the SEND team.

The role focuses on direct learner support, contributing to inclusion, and assisting with the EHCP provisions while developing classroom strategies tailored to individual needs.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with SEND in mainstream or special school provision.
• Commitment to inclusion and continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support for the learning of individual children or groups to achieve progression targets.
• Support the delivery of EHCP provisions under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Assist in implementing curriculum delivery with an emphasis on inclusion and engagement through play and practical activities.
