Monarch Education is recruiting a Learning Support Assistant for a Specialist SEN School in Bolton for September 2026. The role supports pupils aged 11-16 with SEND, helping them access lessons and participate in activities within a safe, inclusive environment.

• Experience with children or young people in education, care, youth work or support settings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support students aged 11-16 with a variety of SEND.
• Assist pupils in accessing lessons and engaging with classroom activities.
• Deliver targeted interventions and learning support programmes.
• Promote student confidence, independence and self-esteem.
• Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and support staff.
• Contribute to the overall wellbeing and progress of students.
