Monarch Education is seeking a Learning Support Assistant for a Specialist SEN School in Bolton starting September 2026. The role involves supporting students aged 11-16 with SEND, delivering targeted interventions, and working with teachers and therapists to support overall wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or young people in education, care, or similar settings.
• A positive, patient and flexible approach.
• Ability to build strong relationships and be a positive role model.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for supporting students with additional needs; knowledge of SEN/ADHD beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support students aged 11-16 with SEND.
