Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant in a thriving secondary SEN school in Bolton from September 2026. This role offers a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, with a daily pay rate between £92.59 and £110.24.

The contract runs for the full academic year, ensuring continuity and development opportunities for students with diverse needs. You will support pupils aged 11-16 with SEND, help them access lessons, and deliver targeted interventions, whilst working closely

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people in education, care, youth work or support settings.
  • Positive, patient and flexible approach.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and act as a positive role model.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
  • Knowledge of SEN, autism, SEMH or ADHD (beneficial but not essential).

About the Role
