Bradgate Education Partnership at Broomfield Primary School is seeking a caring SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs and help them reach their full potential. You will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support, promote inclusion and contribute to a positive, safe learning environment.

The 22.5 hour per week role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 1:00pm during term time plus inset. Start date: ASAP.

Formación

• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably in a primary school.
• Patience and empathy to support children with diverse needs.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards education and child development.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to varying needs of children and school.
• Strong teamwork to collaborate with teachers, staff and parents.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsabilidades

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
• Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Track and report on children’s progress, working with teachers to adapt support.
• Support the social and emotional development of students, helping build resilience and relationships.
• Includes 1 hour of 1:1 lunchtime support.
