Job summary

Principal Education is seeking hard working and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to work in special needs schools and resourced provisions across Barking and Dagenham and the wider East London area.

You will support children with EHCPs 1:1 or in small groups, in settings including autism, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties, working closely with teachers, therapists and SENCOs to create a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK
• Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs
• Patience, empathy, composure and diligence
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or willing to complete a new application
• Overseas police clearance if lived abroad 6+ months in last 5 years
• Based in London or within a commutable distance

Responsibilities

• Roles typically require full-time availability (Mon to Fri)
