Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant for a long‑term, full‑time placement in a Leeds mainstream school. You will support pupils with a range of needs, helping them access English, Maths and Science in a nurturing classroom.

Experience with SEND is highly desirable, and this role offers a stable, year‑long position with opportunities to develop towards teacher training.

Qualifications

• UK Bachelor's degree
• Excellent understanding of core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
• Experience supporting young people – tutoring, mentoring schemes, youth work, or similar
• Experience working with students with SEND is highly desirable
• Aspiring to train as a teacher in the future (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Long-term, full-time role in the same school for the full academic year.
• Support in either a primary or secondary mainstream school.
• Assist pupils with ASD, PMLD, ADHD.
