Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant in Lingfield to support pupils with a range of SEN in a residential setting. You will assist teachers, deliver group and 1:1 activities, and promote learner independence across the primary unit.

The role is term-time only with a guaranteed long-term contract through July 2027 and daily pay of £88-£110, Monday to Friday. Experience with SEND, flexibility, and the ability to work well in a team are essential to succeed in this

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in SEND settings.
• Able to support learners with various learning difficulties.
• Flexible and able to build relationships with learners.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching assistance to the teacher per planning.
• Deliver group and/or individual activities planned by the teacher.
• Work with learners to develop work and monitor progress.
• Support learners' wellbeing within the school structure.
• Assist in using management strategies for a purposeful learning environment.
• Support learners across curriculum areas as scheduled.
