Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking an SEN Learning Support Assistant in East Grinstead to work with students aged 6-16 with complex needs in a residential setting. The role is full-time, term-time only, with hours from 08:30 to 16:00 and a guaranteed placement until July 2027, at daily rates of £88-£110.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEN needs.
• Ability to engage students in primary unit activities.
• Willingness to learn and build relationships with learners.
• Experience in SEND settings and with children is essential.
• Be flexible and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide teaching assistance to the teacher as planned.
• Deliver group and individual activities prepared by the teacher.
• Work with learners to develop work and monitor progress.
• Support learners well-being within the school structure.
• Assist with management strategies to create a productive learning environment.
• Support across curriculum areas as directed.
